The Good Shepherd Children’s Home is a voluntary placement program, meaning that children are voluntarily placed with the Home by their parents or legal guardians.
The GSCH is granted full power of attorney for each child and is fully responsible for providing for the best interest of each child.
We accept boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 15, however, as a family style home, we are not equipped to handle “troubled” or “problem” children. Our program is focused on providing for children who, at no fault of their own, find themselves in unfortunate home situations where they are not, or cannot be cared for.
Our program is designed to provide for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs as their family seeks to get the help they need. Our ultimate goal is to reunite children with their parents whenever possible.
