Thank You!

Thank you for your interest in the GSCH and for your desire to help support the needs of the children.

GSCH Support

We depend solely upon the support of churches, individuals, businesses, & organizations to underwrite the work.

The Good Shepherd Children’s Home has been caring for the children and families in our community since 1962. We are dedicated to improving the lives of the children who come to us for help, but our work wouldn't be possible without your generosity and support.

There are a number of ways to support the Minstry of the GSCH.

  • Prayer - Pray we are able to make a difference in the hearts and lives of the children we care for.
  • Current Needs List - We are always in need of various sundry items. Check out our current needs list and consider adding something to your buggy next time you are at the supermarket.
  • General Support - We rely 100% on private donations to meet the operational needs of the Home. Consider making the GSCH part of your monthly charitble giving.
  • Education Fund - The children attend a local Christian School in the area, and due to their backgrounds, many times the children need additional tutoring. Please consider helping sponsor a child through our education fund. The average cost per child is approx. $100/mo.
  • Grocery Fund - It takes a lot to keep +/- 20 children fed. If you are not able to physically bring groceries by the Home, please consider contributing to our grocery fund. Our cost to feed a child is approx. $150/mo.
  • Building / Project Funding - We are currently in a building program, and with the cost of construction increasing, we will need donations to complete our new facility. In addition, we occassionally have special projects that need funding.
  • Sponsorship - If you own a business, or your place of employment sponsors community programs, the GSCH has various sponsorship programs available.
  • Item Donations - Your donations of vehicles, equipment, furniture, appliances, computers etc. can be used directly or they can be converted into needed funds through sale.
  • Wills & Estates - Consider leaving a gift through your will or estate planning. We advise you to discuss any planned testamentary gift with your legal and financial counsel.
  • Community Advocates - Help spread the word about the work and needs of the GSCH.

The GSCH is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and all support, gifts, and charity bequests are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donations can be made out to the Good Shepherd Chilren's Home or you can donate online by using the Donate button.
